They Grant Wishes And Place Teddy Bears In Police Cars

It began one summer’s day when a group of friends climbed a hill and asked complete strangers to tell them what they wished for. Their odd request was met with bewilderment, but 18 people took them seriously and wrote their wishes on a piece of paper along with their contact details. Requests ranged from help with some plastering work, a blender for a new kitchen, a birthday party for an 11-year-old and a red electric guitar for a young lad who was having a hard time.

A week later the group of four friends had granted all 18 wishes, asking for nothing in return. And so began The Kindness Offensive – an initiative which aims to be kind and make people happy while inspiring others to do the same and therefore making the world a better place.
