Husband Creates New Greeneville Tradition For His Wife
When his wife was diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2013, Scott Teague promised he would do whatever he could to see her smile.
While decorating the house last fall, Teague put his own spin on it. He created a pink display for his wife to see from her bed.
“He painted all of the pumpkins pink, even some of the hay and some of the fodder had a pink tint to them,” Crum-Teague said.
“It was all to make my wife smile,” Scott Teague explained.
But it did more than that. The pink pumpkins caught the attention of their Greene County community and one year later, they are raising money for breast cancer awareness.
